We are thrilled, even if she does describe Anthony as "corduroy-trousered". That cut to the quick - a wheel barrow full of cord trousers has just trundled off to the local charity shop!

This offer is only open to new bookings for stays of one night or more, two people sharing a room, and the bottle of wine is to be shared ( though it is up to you how evenly!) between two people having dinner with us on one night of their stay.

Last minute February, and a bit of March Offer

It was freezing last week but so beautiful, and this week it is going to be tropical. My wardrobe doesn't know which way to turn! But whatever the weather, this is a perfect time to get away to the big skies and wide open spaces of North Norfolk, followed by a bit of pampering at The Rose & Crown. Toasted crumpets by the fire, great ales at the bar, delicious food and rooms almost too comfortable to move from!

We'd love to see you so here is a bit of encouragement:

From now until Monday 5th March, you can stay the night for just £60 for the two of you ( including The Rose & Crown's magnificent Great British breakfast the next morning) provided you spend at least £50 on dinner for two of you that evening.

Stay two or more nights and we'll give you a little something as a thank you on your second night...

The small print

At least £50 must be spent on food and drink at dinner between two adults.   If you spend less than £50, we will add the difference to your room rate.That means that if, for example, you only spend £30 on dinner, we will add £20 to your room rate

The room booking must for the same night as your meal

The offer applies to new bookings from now until Monday 5th March, inclusive.

A £40 non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking.   In the event of cancellation within 48hours of 2pm on the day of arrival, or non arrival, the full normal room rate will be charged
